CD-adapco公司開發的新一代通用熱流體分析軟體「STAR-CCM+」的最新版本v3.06

「STAR-CCM+」加入了CD-adapco特有的多面體網格技術、操作界面簡單易用，是熱流體分析工程師
強有力的工具。多面體網格（polyhedral）生成方法不僅更快捷、簡單，而且相對於四面體網格
(Tetrahedral)，耗費更少的記憶體便能夠得到更高精度的分析結果。

「STAR-CCM+v2」界面非常友好，對表面準備，如包面（surfacewrapper）、表面重構(surface
re-mesh)及體網格生成（多面體-polyhedral、四面體-tetrahedral、六面體核心網格-trim）等功
能進行了拓展，且在並行計算(HPC)上取得巨大改進；不僅求解器可以並行計算，對前後處理也能
通過並行來實現，大大提供了分析效率。在計算速度方面，比上一版本v1成功實現了在64位LINUX
機器上計算速度提高20%的目標。在計算過程中可實時監控分析結果（如向量、標量和結果統計圖
表等）的功能，同時實現了工程問題後處理數據方面的高度實用性、流體分析的高性能化、解析對
象的複雜化、用戶水平範圍的擴大化。為了滿足新一代CFD模擬要求，此求解器採用了連續介質力
學（CCM）分析新方法，不僅可進行流體分析，還可進行結構等其它物理場的分析。
目前STAR-CCM+正在應用於多達2億網格的超大型計算問題上，如方程式賽車外流場空氣動力分析
等項目。
